S. Dulamjinkhuu is 49 years old. She lives with her husband and three children in Arkhangai Province in central Mongolia. Her husband works as an agriculture specialist for the province governor's office, her middle son and daughter are university students, and her youngest daughter is a high school student. She also has a son who currently lives and works in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital city.
Dulamjinkhuu operates a dairy trading business from a rented stall at the local market in her town. She purchases the dairy goods from local farmers in the countryside and sells them at her stall.
Dulamjinkhuu started her dairy business in 1992 with capital of 200,000 tugrugs (approx. $138 USD). Due to her hard work, she has made her business very successful and has used the profits to greatly improve her family's quality of life. Today, her business capital exceeds 2,000,000 tugrugs (approx. $1,380 USD). Dulamjinkhuu's dream is to provide her children with a quality education so that they can become smart and improve their lives. In the future, Dulamjinkhuu said, "I always dream of owning my own comfortable work place."
She is requesting a loan of 3.5 million tugrug to purchase more goods for her dairy business.
