A loan of $7,425 helped a member to purchase a number of cattle.

Aguilas De Cutusuma Group's story

The Aguilas de Cutusuma communal bank will begin its third loan cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Centro Focal Copacabana. It is made up of nine members and is led by officers of whom Lidia is the president.

The loan that they will get will benefit the small micro-entrepreneurs of whom Lidia is one. Currently, she has a business selling cheese. She says that she learned this business at her own initiative some years ago.

The loan that she will get now will be to increase her capital by purchasing a number of cattle, which she will get from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. Later, this will serve her as a means of production and with this she will be able to sell milk and cheese. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family economically since she is married and has six children.

In this group: Lidia, Elsa, Exalta , Paulina , Ladislao Paulo, Antonia , Carmen , Tomasa Julia , Petrona
