A loan of $500 helped to purchase agricultural supplies such as fertilizers and pesticides and to prepare the land where he plants basic grains.

Victor Manuel's story

Victor, 32 years old, studied up to the second grade, is married, and his wife takes care of the household tasks. They have two children of whom the older one studies in first grade.

Victor has worked in agriculture since he was very little and his parents taught him to plant. Currently, he grows a hectare and a half of corn on his own land which is near his house and he gets there by horse. He also pays labor costs to advance with the work.

He needs the loan to purchase agricultural supplies such as fertilizers and pesticides and to prepare the land where he plants basic grains. For now, he does not have enough money to be able to do it and with the earnings from the harvest he will pay off the debt.

He dreams of building his own house and of having a good harvest to get ahead with all the household expenses.
