A loan of $425 helped buy foodstuffs to increase stock in her grocery store.

Saodat's story

Saodat is 50 years old. She is married and the loving mother of two children. Her husband is an entrepreneur and doesn't earn enough for the family consumption, that is why Saodat has been running a grocery store for the past ten years. She sells fruits, sweets, preserved food, juices, soft drinks and many other items in her grocery.

The inventory she has for sale is of very good quality and selection. Saodat is respectful and patient with all of her customers, which attracts people and brings them back to her vending facility to buy groceries again.

Saodat is seeking to keep her business sustainable and has requested a loan of 3,600 to increase the inventory she has for sale. One of her dreams is that her children progress by means of their studies. We believe this current loan will enhance the potential of her business and help Saodat reach all of her aspirations.

Saodat is a returning client and has positive credit history. She is asking for a loan for the third time with Kiva’s field partner IMON.

This loan is special because:

It supports the well being of women and their families.
