Khaled's story

Khaled is a 49-year-old Syrian Refugee. He is a married father of 2 children who fled with his family members from Syria seeking peaceful living in Lebanon.

Five years ago, Khaled started his own sawmill to support his family and improve their living. Through a special Syrian refugees loan product acquired from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua, Khaled is going to purchase necessary carpentry machine to develop his business and improve the quality of his production.

Khaled hopes to continue expanding and developing his business, and open another sawmill in the future.
