A loan of $650 helped to buy more clothes and perfumes to continue selling and improve her business.

Grecia Karina's story

Grecia is 26 years old. She is partnered and has two children. She studied through 8th grade. Her partner is a farmer and her children have already started school.

Grecia worked as domestic help for 6 years cleaning, washing, ironing, caring for children and looking after her boss' shop. In addition to that, she worked 3 years in farming and does so on rented land near her house. She grows one hectare of corn. Another of her jobs is the sale of clothes and perfumes, started 4 months ago.

The loan is needed to buy more clothes and perfumes to continue selling and thus improve her business. Her previous loan from Kiva was used for farming and she paid it back on time.

She hopes to give her children a good education and to have her new business thrive.
