Sophen is 37 years old and a married mother of a small child who is under school age. Nowadays, she is living in a wooden house located in Koh Nhek district, Mondulkiri province. Farming rice and raising pigs, chickens, and ducks are the sources of her income. She is able to earn about 11USD per day, which allows her to cover her living’s expenses and be able to save some for future needs.

Due to lacking of working capital, Sophen is now leading this small group to request a loan to cover farming expenses such as buying seeds and fertilizer. She hopes her crop will grow well and return her better income for future needs.
