Chanthuo's Group's story

Chanthuo, 32, is a married mother of two children. She is now living with her beloved family in a rural village located in Koh Nhek district, Mondulkiri province. To overcome her family’s hardship, she grows rice and raises pigs, while her husband is a handicraft man. She is able to earn about 8 USD per day to cover her family's living expenses.

Her main challenge is the lack of working capital to support her farming business. To solve this problem, she is now leading this group to take out a loan which is the second loan for her. She is planning to use her loan to pay for plowing fee in order to prepare her farmland for the next growing season.
