A loan of $675 helped to pay for pesticides, such as Mantomil, Folivert, Plantonus, Plantima, or Supergros for his cacao plantation, thus avoiding loan sharks, increasing production, and meeting family needs.

Celestin's story

CELESTIN is a 37-year-old man who is married and the father of three. After his schooling, he decided to commit himself to the cacao field inherited from his father twenty years ago. Thanks to this field, he is able to meet family needs. So he puts all his time and a lot of energy into maintaining it.

Since his dream is for better production, he needs maintenance products on time in order to avoid insects and plant diseases, as well as to clear the field. For these reasons, he is requesting this loan, which will be used to pay for pesticides, such as Mantomil, Folivert, Plantonus, Plantima, and Supergros on a timely basis. Thus he could avoid loan sharks who often take a good part of his production.

The money from his sales will allow him to expand his plantation, cover his children’s schooling costs, and meet family needs.
