Sokhom's story

Sokhom is a rural villager from Kampot province where rice farming is a common business in the area. She is 33 years old and one of the breadwinners in her family which consists of two schoolchildren.

Having been engaged in this business for five years, Sokhom is able to save up to $4 (USD) per day from her business after deducting expenses. This is her third loan with VisionFund. She has used the past loans wisely and successfully to improve her family’s livelihood.
