A loan of $775 helped to buy staple foods, meat, groceries, and more.

Luis Enrique's story

53 year old Luis is a shopkeeper in the city of Barranquilla where he lives with his partner and their 2 children, who are 12 and 11, in a humble apartment in the town.
At an early age, he began woking as a helper in a store run by an acquaintance in the interior of the country. This first experience permitted him to acquire the knowledge necessary for running this type of business.
Later, Luis settled on the coast with his family and rented a store where he has worked for 5 years, although he has 29 years of experience in this work.
Today, he needs economic help to supply the store and improve its sales. For this reason, he is applying for his first Kiva loan, which is processed by the Fundacíon Mario Santo Domingo. He will buy: staple foods, meats, groceries, and more.
This loan is very significant for his store. Support it!
