A loan of $300 helped to buy farming inputs.

Francois Mathieu's story

Mathieu is a 55-year-old single man, who is father to six children aged between ten and 32 years old. He has had a cocoa plantation in a local village since he was 11 years old, and he is requesting a loan to buy phytosanitary and other maintenance products, which will enable him to increase his production and organise his harvests better. The profits he makes will be saved and will allow him to achieve his ambitions which are: to expand his plantation and provide for his family's needs.
