Rem's Group's story

Living in a rural area located in Pursat province’s Sampov Meas district, Rem is 56-year-old and a married mother of two children. She is a rice farmer in the local area. Having been in the business for 38 years, she can make a daily income from her current business of 18,000 KHR and is able to save about 13,000 KHR per day after expenses for the future needs.

This is the seventh loan for Rem with Kiva’s partner, VisionFund. Now she is leading her group to seek for another loan. Rem wants to use her portion to buy fertilizers and seeds for her farming. She hopes to grow her rice fruitfully and also hopes to improve her living conditions.
