A loan of $350 helped to purchase maize flour to grow her business capital.


Monica Muthoni's story

Monica is a happily married lady, aged 40 years and a mother of 3 children. Her husband is a businessman and they support one another to meet the family's needs.

She is a shop keeper who delights in her business very much especially when serving her customers."Food business is lucrative" she says, as people have to eat despite the prevailing circumstances.

To grow her business and offer better service, she is requesting for a loan from ECLOF Kenya to add stock of maize flour. This is her second loan cycle and she pays well in time.

Her dream is to further grow her shop.
