Sengorn's Group's story

Sengorn, 32, is the mother of three children, two of whom are in school. She has been a rice and rubber plant grower for about eight years to support her family. She is able to save about 4 USD each day for their future needs. Sengorn lives in Tbaung Khmum province. The price of crops has dropped in the market while the price of farming materials seems to be getting higher, this is the challenge for her.

To expand her business, she is now leading this group to request a loan in order to buy fertilizer to increase the productivity of her crop yield. She hopes this loan will help her to gain more yields as well as to earn more income for her future needs.
