A loan of $925 helped to buy fungicides and pay for labor for his cocoa fields.

Sainclair Leres's story

Sainclair is a 31 year old married man and father of five children. Three of his children already go to school. After his secondary studies he specialized in growing cocoa. He has been farming in a local village for years and he grows mainly cocoa on fields he inherited from his parents. He would like to have a good harvest this year and to do that he has to apply maintenance products on time and stay away from the money lenders. For this reason he is requesting a loan which will allow him to buy fungicides. This will increase his production and sales. The earnings from his sales will allow him to expand his fields, send his children to school and buy a motorcycle. This will allow him better access to his plantation.
