S., age 20, is married to Piseth, 26. Piseth has run a service as a motor driver for years. S. came from a poor family in a remote area before she met Piseth. Their marriage has given them three children, still very young. This family started to brighten their lives by working in Phnom Penh, Cambodia operating a service with an old motor. After awhile, with their savings, S. and Piseth decide to take a loan of $ 700 to buy a new motorbike for Piseth's driving service. This will allow the family to have a better standard of living amongst the neighbors. S. was not available during the photograph so her husband is in the photo instead.
