Umarali's story

The man in this photo is Umarali. Umarali is an active man. He was born in 1955 into a shepherd family. He is living in a remote district in the southern part of the country. He is married and a careful father of his three children.

Umarali is an agrarian person. He is busy with buying and selling cattle. He buys cattle from rural areas and feeds them. For more than 21 years, he has dealt with selling cattle in the domestic animal market. His wife helps him in this activity. In addition, he deals with farming. With the gained profit, Umarali feeds his family and pays for the family's expenditures. Currently, he feeds two cows at the barn.

He wants to buy cattle to enlarge his business. He requested a 8,500 TJS loan for buying cattle. He is a repeat client and has a positive credit history. It is his third loan through Kiva’s field partner IMON.
