A loan of $925 helped to buy fungicides, insecticides, and herbicides.

Benoit's story

Benoit is a 38-year-old, married man and a father of six children. Five of the children are in school. He has lived in a village with his family over the years and is a farmer. Before that, he attended secondary school.

Benoit specializes in cacao farming, and thanks to this work he is able to support his family's needs. This year, he would like to better maintain his farm so that he can have a better production. This is why he is seeking this loan--so that he can buy fertilizers (fungicides, insecticides, and herbicides) at the right time to improve his yield.

Money earned from selling his cacao crop will allow him to build a small hut, improve his family's living conditions, and expand his farm.
