Delfina is a member of the Mi Buen Pastor (My Good Shepherd) Community Bank. She is married, 54 years old, and has five adult children.

Desfina trabajo en un puesto de periódico como ayudante por un tiempo de dos años, y se independizó cuando tenia 17 años desde entonces ella solo se dedica a la venta de periódico, empezó en la victoria, pero se mudo a San Juan de Miraflores donde se compro un terrenito y hizo su casa, y en una esquina se ha puesto a vender periódico con la ayuda de su hija menor.
