A loan of $5,000 helped a member to stock her store with products such as rice, beans, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, etc.

Mi Dios Es Mi Fortaleza Group's story

The Mi Dios es mi Fortaleza (My God is my Strength) communal association is made up of eight members, who are responsible mother and fathers with 15 minor children under their care. They are currently trying to move their different businesses forward.

Jacinta is the leader. She has a small grocery store where she sells comestible products such as cookies, beans, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, tistes (a cacao-based beverage), juices, etc. The business is located in her house.

Her goal is to stock her store so that in the near future she can obtain better earnings. Mi Dios es mi Fortaleza is grateful for the support provided by Kiva investors to people of limited resources and poor countries like Nicaragua, so that they can have a dignified manner of work.

In this group: Silvia De Los Angeles, Alberto Javier, Thelma, Matilde Del Socorro, Jacinta Del Socorro, Marjorie Gabriela, Jonathan Gabriel, Francela Maria
