Geofrey K. is 34-years-old and married to Beatrice Chumba. Together they have six children who are all going to school. He has been employed as a motorbike rider for the last three years in Naivasha town.
He got to know about KADET through a friend who is already a member, after unsuccessfully being unable to access a loan from any other financial institution. This will be Geofrey's first loan.
With this loan Geofrey intends to purchase his own motorbike and run his own business.
He also has a long term goal of expanding his business and owning his own taxi and a public service van commonly known as matatu.
The Kenya Agency for the Development of Enterprise and Technology (KADET) is committed to economically empowering its clients by providing financial services to rural communities in order to relieve suffering and improve living conditions within those communities.
