Mercy
Mercy is the mother of three children and is a fish monger in Alabukam where she lives and operates her business. She will use this loan to purchase flour and fish, as well as to cover transportation and rent costs.

This is Mercy’s third loan from GHAPE since she became a beneficiary in 2007. Mercy trusts her business will be a successful one because she thinks she has a good site at which she operates her business. Her customer base is also consistent and Mercy is skillful in her activities.

Like most entrepreneurial mothers, Mercy plans to use the profits from the loans to pay for her children’s school fees. The profits will also go towards purchasing food and clothing for the family. Mercy enjoys being a GHAPE member and likes the group of entrepreneurs she works with.
