Evelyn
Our featured entrepreneur is a young and active vendor of balot (incubated 18 day old duck eggs). She is Mrs. Evelyn C., 28 years of age, married to Angelito C., a tricycle driver in the city. They are blessed with four children: three of them are now in elementary school and the other one is an infant.

With starting capital of 500 PHP from a lending investor, she was able to begin her business almost a year ago. Now she is earning an average net income of not less than 3,000 PHP. Upon hearing the good news of Paglaum MPC, she immediately joined the PDP-LP (Paglaum Development Program for Landless People) in the year 2006. With her good credit record, she has accessed multiple loans.

Now on her sixth cycle, she is applying for 8,000 PHP to buy one unit tricycle for her husband. Her hope in life is to be able to meet the daily needs of her family and give them a better education for their future.
