Mrs. Ving C. is a widow with two chidren. She lives in the Kampong Cham province of Cambodia. She runs a farm on a small piece of land behind her house. She barely makes enough money to help make ends meet for her family. Two of her children work at the local garment factory and contribute money to the household once a month. Currently, C. is requesting an $800 loan to purchase seeds, fertilizer and cows to work on her farm. She thinks the loan offers the best opportunity to grow her business.
