Felicita is a member of the San Luís Communal Bank. She is 56 years old, married and has 4 children. The youngest is 20 years old and studying at an institute.

Felicita used to wash clothes for a living, but it was too much to handle. In her free time, she learned how to make plush satchels and gave one to a friend as a birthday gift. Her friend liked it so much that she asked to buy a dozen of them to sell. She now spends her time making satchels, as well as woven purses and sweaters upon request.

Since joining FINCA, Felicita has become more sociable. She was eager to learn as she put more effort into her work. Felicita needs a loan of 1000 soles, and will use it to buy wool at wholesale and children’s clothing for resale. She dreams of having her own store in the bazaar.
