In 2002, Rolando M. decided to start a small business. Since he knew a little about electronics repair, he started a shop, in order to provide income for his family. He is 44 years old this year and all of his four children are studying in school.
All he wants to do is make his shop prosper. After he found out about Kiva in CEVI, he applied for a loan worth PHP 18,000 to support his business.
Now, he is actively joining other entrepreneurs in the village during CEVI cluster meetings. He received not just a loan but training and insurance coverage as well.
