KH. H., 27, operates a sewing business that generates a typical income of $2.60 US per day in the province of Takeo. H. and her husband work hard every day to ensure a comfortable standard of living for their family. H. and her husband are blessed with two young children who have not yet attended school. Her husband is a shoemaker who operates from their house and usually earns around $13.30 per day. H. is requesting a loan of $500 to purchase animal skins to produce more shoes for her husband's customers. By doing this, she hopes that her husband will be able to produce more goods to sell at markets to increase their income. They will then be able to cover their family expenses and save to support her children’s future education.
