Fuente De Bendicion Group 5
Diser is the youngest of the group at age 19, but her work ethic and business savvy have led her friends to choose her as their leader. Her mother started a salon some years ago and now Diser is running it herself. She will use this loan to buy beauty products such as nail polish and hair products. She says she is very excited because she loves her job and looks forward to increasing the number of customers.
Diser is is not married and has no children, which allows her to put a lot of time into her business. She hopes to build her business up enough so that she can support a family sometime in the future.
On behalf of Diser and the entire Fuente de Bendicion group, thank you for providing opportunities to those who need them most!
This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
