Yaw is thirty-two years old. He is married and has two children, a boy and a girl. He lives with his wife and children in a rented apartment in a farming/commercial town in the western region of Ghana. Yaw trades in textile materials. He sells in a shop in his community. He also hawks (sells door-to-door) and treks to other towns to sell. Yaw buys the textiles from Kumasi. He has been in business for four years and wants a loan to buy goods in bulk to expand his business.
He wants to give his children a good education.
