Gloria is forty-eight years old. She is divorced and has given birth to four children: two sons and two daughters who are currently in the junior high and the primary schools. She lives with her children in a rented apartment in a farming/commercial town in the Western Region of Ghana.
Gloria is a food vendor. She cooks and sells rice and stew. She prepares the food in her house and sells at the market square. She buys bags of rice and other ingredients from Kumasi. She has been in business for fourteen years and wants a loan to buy bags of rice and other ingredients in bulk to expand her business.
Gloria desires to give all her children a quality education and to improve upon her standard of living.
