Ahoefa
Madame G. Ahoefa was born in Azime in 1956. She is now a widow with seven children, left under her care after her husband, who was a motorcycle taxist, died in an accident. Her main source of income is the preparation and sale of "bouillie"-corn mush. She is well known by everyone in her neighborhood of Aklakou. Ms. ZOGBONTO G. has already benefitted from a credit of $250.00, that she used to re-launch her economic activity after the death of her husband. This activity allows her to feed her children and to pay for their schooling, however, the number of children creates large expenses. And so, she hopes to improve her business and is asking for a loan of $600.00 to purchase and to stock corn and wood in order to meet her customer's demands. The additional earnings she will make from selling "bouillie" will be used to care for the nutritional, sanitary and schooling needs of her children and will improve their social standing.
