Raquel Emperatriz Nuñez Salinas started her business of selling fried chicken two years ago. She started the business, which she calls Pollos Stefanny, in her daughter’s house. Eight months ago she set it up close to where she lives. Her customers prefer her because of the good flavor of her chicken. She is married, but her husband lives in Tegucigalpa due to his work. Every week end he travels to be with his family.

She lives with her son. The income generated by her business helps her husband support the household and pay for their son’s education.

Her goal is to be able to have a super big chicken store where she can sell a lot every day. Chicken is consumed a lot in her country. Its price is lower than beef, and it is healthy to eat it.

Our country is trying to move beyond the political crisis after the elections of the 29th of November. We hope to continue with the valuable support you give by funding our loans and our people. Our goal is to help our clients achieve a better quality of life, by helping to improve their businesses which can help contribute to their food security and that of their families.
