Angelica is a 36-year-old, hardworking, married woman living in Kamwenge, Uganda. She is a mother of six of which four are school-going children. Apart from her own family, she also takes care of one other dependent because he is an orphan.

She operates a retail shop of general merchandise alongside livestock rearing and crop growing mainly beans. She does this to look for school fees for her children. Her goal is to educate her children and expand her shop to a wholesale store, but she is limited by lack of market for her products and bad debtors in her business.
