Akua is 50 years old, married and a mother with five children. All her children are currently in the primary and the junior high school in the community where they live. She is very humble and committed to her work. She sells smoked cow meat in bulk at the community market where she lives. She takes stock of cow meats from the northern region of Ghana.
Sometimes she spends weeks at the northern region so that she can buy more to supply to her customers. This, she said, prevents her from frequent traveling. She requests the loan to buy more smoked meat to upgrade her inventory. It is her dream to save more to take care of the children.
