Dima is a 27-year-old woman who lives in Saida, in southern Lebanon. She has owned a grocery store since 2004. Dima has requested a loan of $1200 from Al Majmoua to purchase groceries for her store. This is Dima's second loan cycle.

One obstacle that she faced with the previous loan is that her store is a family business. Her family is big, so it was hard to share the benefits among all and still concentrate on improving the business. What helped her is that her father was the owner of the shop so there was no rent to pay.

Dima's customers are friends and neighbors. In the future, she plans on expanding her business.
