Dona Felipa is a widow. She is 50 years old and has 3 children, 2 of her children still live with her but are independent. Felipa has worked for 18 years as a teacher and examiner. Her schedule changes each week, causing her to sometimes stay at the school to sleep. She works from 6am until 2pm, and from 2pm until 6pm. In her spare time she works as a seamstress to generate more income. She is requesting a loan to construct a small house for her daughter who was recently married. Her daughter is also a teacher. Felipa feels this is the only opportunity she has to help her so that she can also be more independant.
