Alope 11 Group's story

Mariatu is the leader of Alope 11 Group, which is made up of six members. All six members including Mariatu are engaged in selling different products.

Mariatu is the leader of the group. She sells dried fish. Mariatu has sold dried fish for the past 17 years. She uses the proceeds from her business to help the husband with some household expenses, for personal needs and raising the children.

Mariatu and her group members are requesting a total loan of 13,650,000 SLL. Mariatu will use her share of 1,150,000 SLL, to purchase additional dried fish to sell.

Mariatu is shown at the right of the picture. Mariatu hopes that her business will continue to exist so that she can save enough money for the household expenses and also prepare for her children’s education. Mariatu and her group members thank you for financing their businesses.
