Rose Y. is fifty years old, widowed, and has given birth to four children, all of whom are still in school. She lives with her children in a rented apartment in a busy commercial town called Suhum in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Rose works hard to be able to provide for her family. She runs a provision store in her community selling provisions such as sugar, candies, bread, etc. Her store is by the roadside.
Rose has been in business for fifteen years and wants a loan to buy provisions in bulk to increase her stock. Rose aspires to sponsor all her children in school to the higher levels.
