Elizabeth Kwartemaa

Elizabeth Kwartemaa is 50 years old. She is married and has seven children—three daughters and four sons. All are currently in the senior high, junior high, and the primary schools. She lives with her children and husband in a rented apartment in a commercial town called Dwenase in the Western Region. Dwenase is a suburb of Sefwi-Wiawso, the district capital.

Elizabeth is a food vendor. She prepares and sells rice and stew. She sells on a tabletop at the lorry station in the mornings and evenings. She wants a loan to buy bags of rice and other ingredients in bulk. Elizabeth buys her goods from Kumasi and nearby communities. She has been in business for over 30 years. She aspires to expand her business and give her children a good education.
