Akua G. is a twenty-one-year-old young lady. She is single and has no child. She lives with her mother in a rented apartment in Dwenase, a suburb of Sefwi-Wiawso in the Western Region of Ghana.
Akua is a caterer and deals in pastries. She prepares and sells pastries such as chips (french fries), meat pies, doughnuts, etc. She hawks (goes door-to-door) to sell in her community and also supplies other retailers in her community. She buys bags of flour from Kumasi.
Akua has been in business for three years now and wants a loan to buy bags of flour and other ingredients in bulk. She desires to expand her business and improve upon her standard of living.
