Susanna started her fish sales 20 years ago in the community where she lives. She takes delivery of fish from the Kumasi and Yeji. She believes this will help her get affordable prices. Susanna has a store in the community market where she sells the fish. Her smoked fish tastes very good, attracting customer to buy from her stand. She has a high customer base that (customers) travels from the surrounding communities to buy her fish. They buy from her both the fresh ones and the smoked ones. She is now 45 years old, married and the mother of seven children. Currently six are in school and one is learning hairdressing. She requests the loan to upgrade her stock of fish to upgrade her inventory. Susanna belongs to a village bank called ‘Nyame neme Boafo’ which means God is my helper.
