Chamreoun E. is 45 years old and married. She has four children of which three are students and one is a garment worker. She makes a living by selling groceries at her home for a daily income of $8. Her husband is employed in a garment factory in Phnom Penh City where he earns a daily income of $3. She plans to take a KIVA loan of $700 to buy a motorbike for the transportation of her groceries. She hopes that, with the success of her business plan, she will be able to decorate her house and push all her three children to a good school of higher education.
