Anna is 55. She is a widow with three children. Her greatest current challenge is paying her children's school fees, and also the poor health of one of her children.

She has benefited from GHAPE loans in the past and has successfully paid them back. She says, thanks to the low interest rates, she has always paid back the loans with little stress. She believes her business is sound: she takes the manure from her pigs and uses it on her farm, sells her farm products and pigs and gets much money. She helps her community by making available these products and the manure for them to buy and improve their own farms. She intends to use the profit from her farm for the education of her children and expansion of her farm. She intends to take bigger loans in the future to grow her farm and build a good house for herself.
