Mavis A. is thirty-five years old, married, and currently has no child. She lives with her husband in a rented apartment in a commercial town called Dwenase in the Western Region. Her husband works with a cocoa marketing company.
Mavis trades in secondhand clothes – ladies’ underwear such as bras, etc. She buys her goods from Kumasi and sells at the market square in her community. She treks to other markets to sell as well. Mavis has been in business for eight years and wants a loan to buy bales of textiles in bulk. She aspires to expand her business.
