Jesús Antonio
Jesús Antonio C. is the father of a family and has a son for whom he wants security. With the previous loan he had with FVP, he was able to construct a few rooms, but they are still missing a roof. He would like to make the roof out of concrete so that it is more secure and durable. However, he does not have enough money to be able to make these improvements as soon as possible. Jesús Antonio works in an assembly plant in the technical department, which provides the income for the family, a part of which will be used to repay the loan.

About Housing Loans

Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
