Mrs. Boo P. (the woman with the red striped shirt in the photo) is 45 years old and the mother of four children. They live with her husband in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. She is a housewife and is a good cook for her family. Her husband, meanwhile, is a soldier and barely makes enough money to supplement the household. To help this, one of her children operates a hairdressing shop where she makes an average of about $11/day. In order to run this business properly, Mrs. P. is asking for a $1000 loan to purchase some hairdressing tools and other equipment to run her daughter's shop.
In the future, Mrs. P. needs to either expand or own another hairdressing shop which is bigger than this.
