A loan of $1,300 helped a member to pay for a cookstove.

Kopanang Bataung Group's story

Malebohang is 59 years old, a divorced mother of 3 children and 1 grandchild. She lives in a two bed-roomed house. She uses wood, paraffin and candles for cooking and lighting respectively. She does not work and she earns a living from her supportive daughter who works at the factories.

Malebohang and the other twelve people from her village are not going to suffer any more as they are not going to have to go to far places fetching wood for making a fire. The ACE1 clean cook-stove uses just twigs and dry cow-dung to provide heat and cook smoothly. She is also going to save money from buying candles as the ACE1 stove comes with a LED Lamp.
