Ángela del Carmen M. is 40 years old and she lives in the San Juan neighborhood along with her husband, who helps her with the household expenses. They have three children, all of whom are still minors. They study and also help her with the agricultural work. Her plan for her family’s future is to improve their living conditions. For the past five years, Ángela has been working the land she inherited from her father. Her biggest difficulty is the lack of financing. She began doing this work by her own initiative. With the financing obtained, she will buy fertilizers and other inputs to improve her crop so she can have a good harvest and sell at a better price in the market.
