Maya is a market entrepreneur from Tarascha, Belaya Tserkov region, Ukraine. She runs four vending locations selling groceries, veggies and fruit in one of the local markets. The inventory she has for sale is of very good quality and selection. Maya is respectful and patient with all of her customers and this attracts people and brings them back to buy groceries again. Currently, she has about 20,000 invested in her business as turnover capital. Her monthly net profit is about 5,300 Grivnyas. Maya has 3 hired employees to work for her.
High inflation rates are affecting businesses in Ukraine. Maya wants to keep her business sustainable and has requested a loan of 6,000 Grivnyas to increase her wholesale inventory. One of her plans for the future is to generate sufficient profit to help her daughter open a beauty center in their home town. Maya doesn’t have anyone to rely on as her husband died in a car crash 9 months ago. We believe that this current loan will enhance the potential of her business and help Maya reach all her aspirations.
